Most Ven. Aggamahapanditha Napane Pemasiri Mahanayaka Thero of the Ramanna Nikaya, and Most Venerable Warakagoda Gunatatana Maha Nayaka Thero of the Siyam Maha Nikaya, Asgiriya Chapter alone with Ven. Uduwara Dhammarakkitha  Nayaka Thero of the Badugallena Aranya, Buttala; Ven. Muruddeniye Dhammarathana Nayaka Thero of the Muthiyangana Raja Maha Viihara, Badulla; Ven. Hurikaduwe Pragnasekera Nayaka Thero of the Sri Vidyasagara Pirivena, Ven. Walala  Pemalankara of the Sri Vidyasagara Pirivena and Ven. Madugalle Mahanama Thero, Head of the Sri Sambodhi Meditation Centre in London made a courtesy visit to the London Buddhist Vihara on Monday the 23rd October.

The Mahanayaka Theros and the delegation came to London to take part in the two day Kathina Pinkama held at the Sri Sambodhi Meditation Centre, London with the invitation of Ven. Daranagama Kusaladhamma Thero, Chief Incumbent of Sri Sambodhi Vihara, Colombo, Sri Lanka, Sri Sambodhi Development Foundation in London and Chairman of Buddhist Media Network, Sri Lanka.

Head of the London Buddhist Vihara Chief Sangha Nayaka of Great Britain Most Ven. Bogoda Seelawimala Nayaka Thero and the resident monks welcomed the Mahanayaka Theros and the party. Ven. Seelawimala Nayaka Thero said that it was a great privilege to have the rare opportunity of welcoming two most venerable Theros to the Vihara, specially the newly appointed Asgiriya Mahanayaka Thero on his first visit to London.He paid Punyanumodana to Ven. Deranagama Kusaladamma Nayaka Thero and Ven. Madugalle Mahanama Thero for arranging the visit.
